#39. Win more than $40 playing blackjack at a casino.
Friday night I went to see a LeAnn Rimes concert at a casino in Connecticut, so we went up a little early to do some gambling. I have to admit, I'm a cheapskate when it comes to the gambling. I normally bring $40-$50 max to play with, and I usually only play blackjack. This time I decided to be bold and bring $80. Look out, Big Spender coming! Well, I also knew there wouldn't be any $5 tables so I'd have to suck it up and sit at a $10 one. That itself was hard enough to find, as most started at $15, but I found one. I played for about an hour and a half and I think I only dipped below my original $80 once, to $70. I probably could have stayed at the table longer and won more, but I also could have stayed and lost, so I didn't want to press my luck. Total take ABOVE the $80? $190. Hell yeah. Oh, and I had 4 quarters in my wallet that I dropped into a slot machine and turned into $5. Me? On. Fire.
(Oh, and the LeAnn Rimes show was excellent. Her voice sounded incredible. But did you hear that I won $195?)

PAM: Do you want to go to the mall with me on Thursday?
JERRY: Sure, why?
PAM: The Colossal Colon is coming to town.
JERRY: I saw the commercial for that! Why, do you want me to take your picture inside of it?
PAM: Yes.
JERRY: Okay.
Now, I can see why I would want to go and walk around a 40 foot colon, what with the not having one and all, but WHY would anyone else? I also think I'm a little too excited about The Colossal Colon.

If I'm not updating too much in the next two weeks, it's because I'm hard at work on the new play. We had rehearsal tonight and I realized that we only have 12 days and 3 rehearsals left before the show. Ay yi yi. But I think it's going to be awesome, so I am VERY excited. Plus, I get to wear a fat suit. What's better than that? Nothing, I tell you.
