Everything's More Fun In Pigtails!

Shut Up, The Family Circus.

One of my favorite scenes in the movie Go is when Timothy Olyphant's character gripes about The Family Circus comic strip, and says he hates it but can't stop reading it. Then he says he reads all of the other comics and then there it is, at the bottom of the page, waiting to suck. Word.

Who is still reading this thing? Not me! Oh, that stupid 'Not Me' ghost. Man, I wish I had someone like that little bastard to blame things on. Those kids get away with murder just by blaming everything on him. Those parents must be on crack. Or, their house is built on top of an old, mysterious ancient Indian burial ground that conjures up evil spirits who run around and break vases. One or the other.

The only thing worse than that freakin' 'Not Me' is when we are treated to a whole panel showing little Billy running off to do an errand and we get to follow his footsteps all over creation. Seriously, the kid needs to pee so he goes all over the block, traipsing his dirty-ass feet through stranger's houses just to get back to his house and end up in the next rrom over from where he began. Yeah, that would happen. I think those neighbors would be so sick of that little punk trespassing through their yards that they'd kick his little 'Not Me' blaming-ass every time he stepped one little toe onto their property. That kid needs a lojack or should at least have one of those house arrest anklets. I don't know why he hasn't been picked up by kidnappers by now - maybe he's even too annoying for them. Yes, this is decidedly so. The only one who has any chance in that house is the baby. Get out now, while you can! I guarantee in a few weeks we'll be treated to his first words: "Not Me!" Shut up, PJ.
