Have you ever seen this comic strip? It�s in the Comics for Kids section and Slylock Fox and his little bitch cohort Max Mouse solve mysteries all over town. And the same poor animals keep getting picked on by Shady Shrew and his gang of baddies. I would move my ass with all of the crime going on in this town. Anyway, what makes this comic strip so ridiculous is some of the so-called �mysteries� that they expect kids to solve. This week�s Sunday installment was a peach as usual. Slylock expected 8 year-olds to know the intricacies of nesting and birthing habits of geese. It was some hullabaloo about how long the mothers sit on the eggs and the order in which they hatch and the alignment of the stars to make this happen or some ridiculous thing like that. WTF? Lots of Sundays you just see me throwing the comics section to the other side of the room with disgust. Slylock makes me feel stupid. I hate you, Slylock. I�m really hoping that 8 year olds do NOT know the answers to some of these problems because I may have to set my hair on fire. Lately it hasn�t been as bad � I think Slylock is throwing us simple folks a bone just so we feel better about ourselves and don�t lay in bed all day mumbling about Wanda Weasel. I remember once that the answer had something to do with the boiling point of steel or some fool thing like that. Who writes these things, Mr. Wizard? Does he like to make 6 year olds cry? Criminy. At least Slylock isn�t on the same page with The Family Circus. Shut up, Family Circus. And damn you, Slylock Fox.
